Eligibility: 1st-5th grade individual students (including home school groups, public and private schools)
Theme: Native Pinewoods Birds

BASIC GUIDELINES
- All artwork must showcase at least one native bird
and its habitat, drawn with accurate species colors
and markings.
- Winning artwork will be selected based on creativity, composition, content, and use of color.
- Artwork may be created with colored pencil, crayons, and markers only.
- Entries will be judged in three division:
I - 1st-2nd grades; II - 3rd-4th grades; III - 5th grade.
- The entries will not necessarily be graded on drawing skills.
- Entries should be submitted on 8.5" x 11" or 9" x 12" paper.
- Artwork must be labeled with student's name, age,
grade, school name and phone, teacher's name.

Awards:
Thirty entries will be chosen (10-Division I,
10-Division II, and 10-Division III) and will be exhibited at the Pinewoods Bird Festival at Pebble Hill Plantation on Saturday, April 14. All 30 winning entries will receive two admission passes to the festival. Additional prizes will be awarded to the lst, 2nd, and 3rd place winners of each division and presented at the festival.
